ABOUT GUEST ARTISTS
The Wollombi leg of the Art2Public Travelling Exhibition will also feature paintings by Aboriginal artist Madeline Anderson and renowned Australian sculptor, Col Henry.

Madeline Anderson was born at Woolinada, she was taken from her family in 1960s to grow up in a Mission on Melville Island and later in Sydney. In 1980s, Madeline embarked on a personal journey to discover her grass root and identity, where she reunited with her birth mother and experienced a 'self revival' of freedom and pride in her identity. In the early 1990s she embarked a new journey in the arts. Upon graduation in 1995 she exhibited at the Deakin University, Gosford Regional Gallery and many more. Her paintings reflects the beauty of the Moyle River Region, they depict her affinity with the Mutchur Land and convey her deep innate sense of being. Wollombi Wines' Hofts family are long-standing supporters and collectors of Madeline's works.

Col Henry is one of the renowned Australian sculptors whose work are collected in public and private collections locally and overseas. In early 2013 he collaborated with the National Sculpture Magazine of China, and the Professional Sculpture Committee of China Arts and Crafts Society to exhibit and host a special lecture about abstract sculptures. Col is a modest artist who often provide mentorship to young/emerging artists. Artists from the Art2Public Travelling exhibitions, Alexandria Hirst and Joel Cunninghum have been mentored by Col.
