Long Weekend at Lake St Clair

Everyone were born to do something…. Well I was never good with being outdoor. This is the very first camping trip in my life, yep, the very first time I didn’t make any excuses and just did it. These photos were taken at exactly where I’m blogging at 7,:02am lake St Clair at the hunter region (long weekend), I really like it. 12 hours ago I thought otherwise…
5pm-ish:
Being stuck behind a L plater for about 45 minutes and no GPS or mobile signal. I arrived the camping ground, wit my friends Mo and YLD no where to be found, I wandered around like I was lost (well I really was). Then I was greeted by Rick whom organised the camping group and introduced me to some of their friends, they are very nice people and eventually I found Mo and YLD.
Camp fire, barbecue and drinks, I’m starting to like it, its like a pool party but much more clothed.
A few hours later, as I walked to the bathroom I notice a crisp shadow of my shivering body (it was under 10 degrees that night) cased onto the ground – the moon was round and much brighter than I ever known. I then retried early from the party, and sat besides the lake for almost an hour. And enjoy a much needed moment of solitude – sometimes, when you live in such a fast pace world, and inside your brain there’re ideas, plans and responsibilities, one can not help to sometime feel like had one’s head in the cloud. And suprisingly, this camping trip was exactly what I needed.
Mo and YLD stayed 3 nights with the rest of the group, I returned to Sydney just after 1. I enjoyed camping, perhaps one night at a time…
