Naoko Yehenara / 立體藝術家

I met Dr. Naoko Yehenara, Australian-Japanese-Manchurian artist a few weeks ago, I had never imagine the warm fun-loving woman in red hair is a Cantonese speaker. Suprise to me, she spent quite a few childhood years in HongKong.
Her speciality is porcelain, in which she branched into porcelain painting, sculptural ceramic and Japanese floral design.
She is a great example of a worldly artist. She spent many years overseas, and during that time she had numerous solo exhibitions and her artworks were acquired for private and hotel collections in Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, China and Australia. She is also an art educator; she is active in Australia and China.
Yehenara is a wonderful proof that having mixed cultural identity can be a positive element of one’s professional image, for artist or not, being happy for however you are connects you with what you do and
We had a couple of exciting brainstorming sessions and I look forward to bringing our audiences exciting creative projects in 2013.
